In WHAT TO DO WITH PUBIC HAIR? you say shaving “Might cause hair to grow back coarser”. That is a total myth, I can’t believe you don’t know it yet. Ask any dermatologist. The coarseness of hair comes from genetics and it changes as you age, so people who shave fine hair and later when it is growing it’s coarser is because they aged. Just like the myths in DON’T DISMISS MASTURBATION MYTHS!

Alice,

As a guy, I prefer a woman who does tend to her pubic hair. It doesn't have to be all shaved off, but trimmed is a great idea, IMO. My wife has tried it completely shaved off, she kinda liked it, but it took too much work. These days she just trims the mons pubis area to about a 1/2", then trims the rest as short as she can. If she's in the mood, she shaves around the labia (leaving the mons pubis alone).

It's just hair, it'll grow back if you don't like it trimmed.

Dear Alice,

As a man, I find feminine pubic hair very very sexy. The thicker the better. Please ladies, leave it alone and don't shave it.

To the reader:

Don't shave. Leave it natural, it's beautiful!

Dear Alice,

Pubic hair is supposed to help keep the area free from harmful bacteria. It is a natural growth. The pornographic industry is responsible for depicting women and men with shaved pubes, so that viewers could see things in greater detail. Personally, I would like to leave the pubic hair of both men and women unshaven. If someone's growth of pubic hair is so long that during intercourse his/her hair gets pulled badly, then it could be trimmed a little. Except for this, I would definitely leave pubic hair alone. However, it needs to be kept clean all the time. There is nothing weird or nasty about unshaven or untrimmed pubic hair in both sexes. I have heard men complain that they don't want their partner's pubic hair in their mouth during foreplay, and so want their women to shave. I think this is not justified — they are not supposed to bite on the hair! It only shows that they don't understand why pubic hair is there in the first place. I am all for the au natural look in men and women.
