(1) Dear Alice, I had a liver condition as a baby that occurs one in a million people. So I had an operation and to this day I have a large surgical scar across my stomach. When I was little, I was embarassed by it and thought people would make fun of it and ask about it. So, I never wore any revealing clothes but now that I'm older, I realize that I should be proud of my scar. If it wasn't for that operation I would have died. And I'm so glad that my friends all support me and tell me that they don't care about it, and they only care for my heart. I will never be ashamed again.
